CDB_PRODUCT_GROUP_SHOTRecalling Spring 2010, my first meeting with the collaborative team of Christopher Drummond and his very dynamic partners of three years, Craig and Meryl Marshall, proved to be a success in more ways than one. We determined their immediate marketing needs for branding and packaging of their revolutionary product line of natural and organic cosmetics for women. Knowing their products were infused with botanicals guided my creative direction, and the decision to let the earthy color palette of the products them selves drive the wheel. The earth tones stood out against the simplicity of the bare basic backdrop of neutral black and white, allowing for a wider audience – Christopher Drummond Beauty's projection to introduce a new product line enhanced for men. By using elegant typography and a color palette inspired by the product’s own natural tones, we established the branding successfully – targeting the upscale national spa and resort marketplace, in addition to their online client base.

After designing CDB’s entire marketing campaign, including their identity, packaging, brochure, sales kit, displays and eblasts, I was proud to be an acknowledged integral part of their team – CDB’s graphic design consultant.
